What merchants ask first

New to feeds? Start here →

Do I need a card to try it?

Yes. The 14-day trial takes a card at the start and charges nothing until it ends — cancel before then from your account and you're never billed. Installs through the Shopify App Store bill through Shopify instead, so your card details never leave Shopify.

I run more than one store — what does it cost?

Stores you connect by feed URL share one subscription: the plan's product limit covers your whole account, split across those stores by catalog size, so a second store costs nothing extra until the catalogs together outgrow the plan. A Shopify store you install the app on is the exception — Shopify bills per installation, so each Shopify store carries its own plan and its own limit, on your Shopify invoice.

I sell in more than one country. Can I have a feed for each?

Yes — one feed per country, each with its own link, its own currency and its own language, all on the same plan. What goes into it is a price somebody actually charges: your store's own, where the currency already matches, or one you've written in a sheet of prices for your other markets. We never apply an exchange rate ourselves, because the channel compares the feed price against your product page and the mismatch would count against your shop, not against us. Products with no price in that currency are held back, and the feed's own screen tells you how many and why before you paste the link anywhere. If your store serves a market at a different address — a ?country= parameter or a /de-de subfolder — tell us once and every product link in that feed goes there.

My products are missing barcodes and categories. Do I have to fix them in my shop?

No. Put your product ids in a spreadsheet with the values your shop has no field for — barcodes, brands, categories, product types, colours, sizes — share it, and paste the link. It's read on every sync, so every channel gets the corrected catalogue, and so does your quality score. Delete a row and the correction undoes itself on the next sync. Whatever came from the sheet stays visible on the product, because a correction you can't see is indistinguishable from us making numbers up — and we don't.

Will this touch my customers' data?

No. We read products and stock — never orders, names or emails. Our Shopify app can't even request customer data.

Is my data safe, and can my team use it?

Your data is hosted in the EU, in Amsterdam, and we publish a DPA you can sign. Every account can turn on two-step sign-in, and the activity log shows who changed what. On Agency, ten people each get their own login.

Can a bad rule break my prices in ads?

No. Price mismatches are the #1 cause of Google suspensions, so price is the one field rules can never rewrite. Feeds always carry the price your store reports. And before any rule is saved, you see what it does to your products; if it's wrong, one click undoes it.

What if my store or export goes down?

We keep serving the last good version of every feed. Your ads never see an empty feed — which is what wipes campaigns on other tools.

Do I still need a Google Merchant Center account?

Yes — your feed lives in your own Google Merchant Center, Meta Commerce Manager or comparator account, so you stay in control. FeedRobin gives you a feed URL to paste there once; after that, updates flow automatically and quality checks catch rejections before Google does.

I'm not on Shopify — does it work for me?

Yes. Paste the product export your platform already generates — Google XML, a Heureka/Compari-style comparator feed, or CSV. BigCommerce, OpenCart, Shopware, Ecwid, Gomag and MerchantPro have one built in. WooCommerce doesn't — our free plugin adds one in two minutes, and it works on its own for Google. PrestaShop and Magento need a free feed plugin too, and we have a guide for each. Field names don't need to match exactly; we read the common variants. The free WooCommerce plugin.

Is the WooCommerce plugin really free, or a trial?

Free, and it stays free: GPL, in the official WordPress directory, with no account, no card and no product limit. It produces a Google Shopping feed for your whole catalogue and works on its own. A FeedRobin plan is for what one file can't do — the other channels' formats, a check of every product on every change, and fixes applied on the way out — from €39 a month, when you want it. What the plugin does.

How fast do price and stock changes reach my feed?

Shopify stores sync in near real time — we receive a webhook the moment a product changes and the catalog updates within minutes. URL-connected stores re-sync every hour on Growth, Scale and Agency, nightly on Starter. Feeds are generated fresh on every fetch, so channels never download a stale file — and if your store or export ever goes down, we keep serving the last good version.

Can my products show up in ChatGPT?

Yes — FeedRobin generates a feed in OpenAI's product feed spec (JSONL), the format ChatGPT shopping and OpenAI Ads read. One thing to check first: since March 2026 Shopify lists products from its own Catalog inside ChatGPT and Gemini automatically, for merchants selling to US buyers — if that's you, you may already be there without a feed. A feed is the route for what that leaves out: OpenAI Ads, which is a separate paid programme, stores that aren't on Shopify, and markets outside that US scope. Either way, what matters is that something keeps the catalogue current, because products stop being recommended about two weeks after the last upload they appeared in. OpenAI can fetch your feed from a URL once a day — paste the link and you are done — or you paste their SFTP details into FeedRobin once and we upload for you, nightly and four more times a day on Growth, Scale and Agency. This channel is still in beta while OpenAI's programme is. Our guide walks through every step.
